Prof. Huaping Xu delivered a plenary lecture titled "Selenium- and Tellurium-Containing Polymers" at the Annual National Polymer, held in Guangzhou from November 22nd to 26th, 2025. Ten members of his research group attended the conference. Four of them, Yuanbo Zhang, Muqing Cao, Chaowei He, and Ruihao Zhou, received the Outstanding Poster Award for their presentations.

Prof. Huaping Xu was invited to deliver a keynote lecture at the 16th International Conference on the Chemistry of Selenium and Tellurium (ICCST-16), held in Germany from August 26th to 29th, 2025. Three PhD students, Chaowei He, Shenghan Zhang, and Ruihao Zhou, also attended the conference. Chaowei He and Shenghan Zhang presented their research through short talks.  

Prof. Huaping Xu was invited to deliver a plenary lecture on Applied Materials & Interfaces Conference 2025 (AMIC 2025), scheduled for July 3-5, 2025, in Singapore.  

Prof. Huaping Xu was invited to deliver a plenary lecture on Polymers for Biomedical Applications as part of the ACS Meetings Global Virtual Symposia (GVS) Spring 2025 session, held in March 2025.

On October 22th, 2024, Prof. Maria Vamvakaki from the University of Crete visited Tsinghua University and delivered a lecture on her research. On 28th Sep, our group organized a mini symposium on dynamic polymers at Biomedical Building E203 in Tsinghua University, with many famous professors invited. The content of the symposium is as follows： The discuss atmosphere of the symposium was very hot, the professors and students exchanged their minds passionately. On May 5th, a joint group meeting was held in Peking University between Prof. Huaping Xu’s Group from Tsinghua University and Prof. Hua Lu’s Group from Peking University. Four students from each group contributed their wonderful work to us and we established a good relationship with each other.
