Mr. Wei Cao passed his Ph.D. dissertation defense. Congratulations to Wei!

Prof. Xu co-organized the 1st International Symposium on "Controlled Depolymerization" (CRP), a part of the 251st ACS National Meeting & Exposition in San Diego, California (March 13-17, 2016), with Prof. Adah Almutari (University of California San Diego) and Prof. Shiyong Liu (University of Science & Technology of China).

Prof. Eric Rivard from University of Alberta, Canada visited Tsinghua University and gave a lecture about “Phosphorescence and Reactive Hydrides in the Main Group” on  Mar. 10th, 2016. In the afternoon, Wei Cao, Shaobo Ji, Lu Wang and Tianyu Li introduced their work to Prof. Eric Rivard, respectively.

Prof. Costatino Creton from ESPCI ParisTech-UPMC-CNRS, France visited Tsinghua University and gave a lecture about “Chemoluminescent molecules to quantify bond breakage and investigate fracture of elastomers” on  Jan. 18th, 2016. In the afternoon, Wei Cao, Shaobo Ji, Lu Wang and Tianyu Li introduced their work to Prof. Costatino Creton, respectively.

Dec. 15th – 20th 2015, Prof. Huaping Xu and his students Wei Cao, Shaobo Ji, Lu Wang, Tianyu Li attended the 2015 International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies held in Honolulu, Hawaii. Prof. Huaping Xu gave an invited presentation of "ROS responsive Se/Te-containing polymers" on Dec. 20th. Wei Cao, Shaobo Ji, Lu Wang and Tianyu Li gave  poster presentation, respectively. ...

In 2015, Wei Cao obtained  Highest Award for Graduate Students of Tsinghua University and Gaoyingshi Scholarship; Lu Wang obtained Samsung Scholarship; Chenxing Sun obtained Physical Chemistry 88 Scholarship; Wentian Xiang obtained Yinghua Scholarship. Congratulations to them!  

Congratulations to Tianyu Li! His new work named “Selenium–Platinum Coordination Dendrimers with Controlled Anti-Cancer Activity” has been accepted by ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces recently.

Congratulations to Shaobo Ji! His new work named "Visible-Light-Induced Self-Healing Diselenide-Containing Polyurethane Elastomer" has been accepted by Advanced Materials recently.    

On Sep. 18th, Prof. Nathan Gianneschi from University of California, San Diego visited Tsinghua University and gave a lecture about "Seek, Destroy and Heal: Enzyme-Responsive Nanoparticles as In Vivo Targeted Delivery Systems".

Three undergraduate students of our group, Wentian Xiang, Ruofan Chen and Chenxing Sun, went to different groups as exchange students in this summer vacation.
